Education
|
|
Goal: Help African Americans from all
socioeconomic backgrounds develop a strong education ethos.
Also help students at all levels of the academic continuum
realize dramatic improvements in academic achievement and educational attainment. Method: Design,
communicate and implement a nationwide, community-based,
comprehensive education strategy that propels African Americans
to the top, academically. (Note: Also examine
the impact trade schools are having on educational outcomes and
preparedness for economic gain.)

Fair and equitable judiciary
|
|
Goal: Adopt a
statistically-based approach to identify judges who discriminate
while serving on the bench. Method: Identify
judges whose adverse rulings against African Americans evidence
a statistically-significant variance
when all other factors are equal.

Gang conversion
|
|
Goal: Implement strategies to transition
youth and gang members from illegal enterprises to legal
pursuits. Method: Devise and implement
strategies nationwide that enable African Americans to purge
unlawful activities from our community and replace them with
productive pursuits and opportunities.

Contracting (federal and local)
|
|
Goal: Increase the number of African-American
businesses that secure and retain multi-million dollar federal,
state and local contracts. Method: Identify and
ensure the implementation of policies that create a level
playing field in federal, state and local jurisdictions.

Election Processes
|
|
Goal: Identify and implement a strategy that
ensures elections throughout the nation are transparent and
verifiable. Method: Leverage existing data to
substantiate the need for an overhaul of the U.S. election
process, including documented evidence from the 2004 elections
in Ohio:
