That is why I and others have aligned to stop the fix by working to bring greater transparency to the election process before the November 3rd General Election by working vigorously with community leaders to accomplish a few "easily implemented" changes.
I am excited about the prospect of winning and bringing
long-needed change to Detroit. I am equally excited about our

Why I Am Running For Mayor As
A Write-In Candidate
Immediately following the August election, several voters contacted me, feeling once again the election process had let them down. They implored me, "Run for Mayor as a write-in candidate." My first thought: Write-in candidates don't win. But then, I realized my attitude about write-in candidacy had nothing to do with fact. So, I contacted members of my team and asked them to research the matter—to find out if write-in candidates had won in other areas of the country. Much to my surprise, I learned that every year, write-in candidates are winning across America. In some instances, some write-in candidates received a million votes. I also concluded that write-in campaigns can make stealing elections via electronic fraud more difficult, since write-in votes are manually counted.

I (Jerroll Sanders) am the perfect Mayor for Detroit. I have a plethora of business skills and extensive professional experience. I built a start-up firm into a multi-million dollar enterprise and earned a reputation, nationwide, for adopting innovative strategies to resolve complex problems. I have countless awards and achievements, including a U.S. Patent, and a book that has been characterized as one of the best books ever written for Black America. I have also authored numerous seminars on writing, sales, business development, marketing, and contracting. More than any candidate in this race, I have a track record that demonstrates I care about the poor and disenfranchised and am committed to helping improve the lives of all Detroiters.
